HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM TO USĀ
- Ensure your return meets the criteria detailed below underĀ What can be returned.
- Enclose with your returns our original order invoice and items you wish to return.
- All Australian customers click thisĀ link to create your return. Please note returns cost will be calculated for Australian customers. International customers please contact us directly should you wish to return an item.
- Once your return has been delivered to our warehouse and processed through our returns department, we will issue you with a refund or a credit note and you will be notified via email.

All items excludingĀ Outlet,Ā SaleĀ categoryĀ items, jewellery, accessories and swimwearcan be returned for a Refund. Sale items may be returned for a gift card only. All items marked as FINAL SALEĀ or OUTLET will not be accepted back at all, If they are returned the sale will be forfeited or you will have to pay for return shipping.Ā If returned to us within 14 days of dispatch for Australia/New Zealand customers or 30 days of dispatch for international customers. Ā
We do notĀ offer exchanges, You are welcome to return your item and re-purchase your preferred size.
Full Priced Items: Can be returned for a refund or credit note - (If you have used a discount code on a full priced item it will be accepted back for a refundĀ or credit note)
Sale Items: If you purchase an item from the sale section/category on the website it will only be accepted back for a credit note.Ā
Final Sale Items/OUTLET: Ā Are final sale and will not be accepted back.Ā
RETURN CONDITIONS
In order to receive a refund or credit note, your return item must meet the following conditions:Ā
- Must be returned within 14 days of dispatch for Australian/New Zealand customers and 30 days of dispatch for international customers
- Must be unworn, in original packaging with all tags attached
- Must not be worn, altered or washed, including make-up or fake tan marks or the smell of perfume, deodorant, body odour, cosmetics or washing powder
- Swimwear, bodysuits, jewellery (earrings/necklaces) and undergarments cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons
- Sale items are not eligible for refundsĀ
- If you received a gift with purchase during a promotion, the gift must also be returned otherwise the value of the gift will be deducted from your refund or credit note.
- Please note, should we identify unreasonable patterns of returns or purchase, or use of garments for personal or professional creation of content, we may restrict or refuse future orders.
- Gift Cards are valid for three years from the date of issue and are not redeemable for cash
- Must not be a FINAL SALE/OUTLET item
Returns will only be accepted under these conditions. As weĀ quality-controlĀ all of our styles before they are sent out, we will inspect all return items upon receipt - any returns which fail to comply with the above will be sent back to you.Ā This policy does not affect your statutory rights.Ā
Please note that while every effort is made to accurately display the colour of our garments, as computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will be completely accurate.
RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY
Australian & International customers will be responsible for shipping and handling charges to return items. If the package does not reach us, we will not be able to complete the refund, we would recommend sending it via traceable post.
If there is a fault with the style you've purchased, we will offer to repair or replace it where available.Ā If we cannot repair or replace the style, we will offer a store credit only. All claims for faulty styles are assessed on an individual basis.Ā
If you require an exchange for a different size, colour or alternative items, you can return your items (providing they meet the return conditions under What can be returned?) and you will be issued with a credit note or refund to place a new order for your preferred items.Ā
Due to the fast turnover of stock, we are unable to hold items and therefore cannot guarantee that your preferred size or colour will be in stock at the time of making your purchase.
WHAT CANNOT BE RETURNED?
- Swimwear, bodysuits, jewellery (earrings/necklaces/rings) accessories and undergarments due to hygiene reasons
- Any items which fail to comply with the conditions outlined under What can be returned?
- All items marked as FINAL SALE/OUTLET (in product description) will not be accepted back at all
PROCESSING OF RETURNS
We will not process returns until your item is physically received by us in our warehouse. Once received, please allow 2-5 business days for your return to be processed. This period may vary during peak times (sale periods, public holidays, Christmas/New Year). Once your return has been processed, you will be notified via email with details of your credit note or, if applicable, a refund.
AFTERPAY RETURNS
Returns remain subject to Girl and the Sunās returns policy.Ā
If you wish to return your item, please send your item back to us as you would for a normal order.Ā When we receive the item/s and accept your return we will issue a refund or credit note for the total value of the item/s returned.Ā
