Winter’s frozen mornings are the perfect excuse for a sleep in, but the only thing better than feeling like a big toasty cinnamon bun cosied up in bed, is sinking your teeth into an actual warm, fresh cinnamon bun and exploring the morning markets with your gal pals, coffee in hand!
We’ve rounded up some of our faves, from fresh produce and heavenly florals to local makers markets with artisan home wears, clothing and jewellery.
The Village Markets | Burleigh, Gold Coast

The perfect Sunday does exist! This has to be one of our absolute favourite markets. Start your morning here by grabbing a coffee and some delicious eats, followed by a dip at the beach and an afternoon picnic on Burleigh Hill. Not only are these markets pup-friendly, but
there are always super talented live artists there to serenade you are you stroll through the markets, browsing the boutique clothing, jewellery and locally made homewares. Good vibes all round!

Just a warning – once you visit this market you will never want to buy flowers from anywhere else! This little slice of heaven is home to four different flower wholesalers offering a full range of seasonal flowers at some seriously good prices! Wander through the endless array of florals and soak in the seasonal scents – but just remember to bring a jacket as some of the blooms are kept in cool rooms and it can get a little chilly!
