We chatted with Julia Fischer and found out the inspiration behind her La Terraza shoot in Spain.
Where did you shoot La Terraza?
Two separate beaches 30 min by train from Barcelona city centre in Garraf and 1h away by car. Two relatively small beaches with tiny houses on them - one of them used to be an old fishermen village near Palamós.
Where is your favourite place to eat?
On an outdoor terrace or garden surrounded by loved ones. I can really recommend the Ultramar Beach Restaurant in Begur @ultramar_begur
The best beaches?
Costa Brava has many different types of beaches and small caves with special lights, shapes and colours. Among my favourites are Cala Sa Tuna, Cala Aiguablava and the beaches around Calella de Palafrugell.
Is there a specific location you always visit?
I find myself repeatedly visiting the north east of Spain, la Costa Brava.
Where is your recommended place to stay?
Cadaqués, Calella de Palafrugell for picturesque white towns with unique surroundings.
Where is the best spot for sunset drinks?
The lighthouse bar in Cap de Creus @restaurantcapdecreus

Book in advance and look out for late spring - late summer. These are the best times to be around.
