Q. Give us a brief “Day in the Life of Elle”

Elle: Essentially no two days are ever the same but that’s why I love what I do. There are a few things I always ensure I do each day and they include running an hour on my treadmill, taking my dog for a walk, answering emails, running Elle Effect and creating content.

Q. What are your 5 favourite pieces from the Zahara collection and where will you be wearing them?

Colette Top & Ember Maxi Skirt - Blue: I love this set as it just so fresh and love the hint of skin where the top meets the skirt. I imagine wearing this to a beautiful long lunch.

Bambi Maxi Dress - Oatmeal: I love the romance of the sleeve, I would be wearing this on a day date with Joel

Harmony Top - Beige: Love the shape of this top and the ivory colour, I envisage dressing it up with a super high heel, statement earring and clutch bag. I would be going OUT in this

Sundown Top - Beige: I love oversized shirting in summer. I would be buying this shirt in the biggest size available and layer it over my swimmers to the beach.

Colette Top & Ember Maxi Skirt - Brown: When I love something I always buy it in both colours. This tan shade would be my evening version the pale blue.

Q. How would you describe the journey of your career and what advice would you give anyone wanting to follow a similar career path?

Elle: I would describe my career journey as hard work and you get out what you put in. I haven’t stopped. When I think about it everything that I have done as got me to this stage in my career and I never gave up. I never took ’no’ or ‘you can’t do that’ as the answer. My advice would be to just start, stop thinking about it. Be inspired by opportunities that come your way. See your peers as people that can lift you higher no someone you are competing against. Knowledge is power so never stop learning and always always be kind. The people you meet on the way up will be the ones you meet on the way down.

Q. What has been your biggest career ‘pinch me’ moment so far?

Elle: I feel as though I have been lucky enough to have many of these at different stages of my career. I honestly remember when I received my first invitation to Australian Fashion week with my name on it, I still have the invite. That was a real pinch me moment. Then there would be landing my cover on Cosmopolitan Australia, launching my own product, being personally invited to Kim K’s house for the launch of KKW Beauty. I am extremely grateful for every moment

Q. What are some challenges you’ve faced or had to overcome?

Elle: People seem to judge a book by its cover. I have continually had to prove myself over and over again

Q. What are some tips on creating beautiful content?

Elle: I think consistency is key. You need to stay consistent with your content and also like your own content. Don’t try to be someone else find your own vibe. Whether that be location, colour or themes

Q. Can you describe your personal style?

Elle: Eclectic

Q. What is one item of clothing that you cannot live without?

Elle: denim shorts
